Dosage

Evening Primrose Oil is a rich source of the very important plant-based omega-6 fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). GLA is found primarily in nuts, seeds, and legumes, as well as in unsaturated vegetable oils, such as borage oil, sesame oil, grape seed oil, and soybean oil.

Omega-6 are essential fatty acids (EFAs), meaning they cannot be made by the body and must be supplied through the diet. EFAs play many important roles in the body, ranging from management of inflammation and cholesterol levels, to hormone balance and skin health.
